News & Events Dementia Action Week 2020 Monday 11th May - Sunday 17th May is Dementia Action Week BRACE would like to invite you to take action to help defeat dementia. You can take action in various ways, whether that’s by attending one of our events, becoming an abseiling star fundraiser, holding a ‘Cuppa for a Cure’ or simply by talking to friends aboutdementia and dementia research. Every little helps. PLEASE NOTE DEMENTIA FIGHT BACK AND THE BRACE ABSEIL ARE POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Dementia: Fight Back This event is free and is taking place on Tuesday 12th May at Exeter University between 6-8pm. The guest speakers will explore ways you and your loved ones can fight back against the issues that can arise with dementia. Please click here to book tickets. Abseil Fundraiser BRACE is holding an abseil on Sunday 17th May in Weston Super Mare, with participants ranging in age between 20 - 87 years old. We are looking for more daredevils to abseil for dementia research! Are you as brave enough to abseil 150 feet down Uphill Quarry, Weston Super Mare? All our abseiling fundraisers are hoping to raise £200 each for dementia research.
