PhD student to Research Associate
BRACE funded PhD student, Oliver Hermann recently completed his studies and has been awarded his doctorship. Congratulations to Dr Hermann.
During his PhD, Oliver undertook research at the University of Bath, which was led by Dr George Stothart, into the early Alzheimer’s test, Fastball. A key focus of his PhD was investigating the Fastball test as a means to potentially diagnosis other types of dementia, such as Lewy bodies.
We are thrilled to share that Oliver will now be working as a BRACE Research Associate on Fastball. This position will benefit from Oliver’s recent studies and insight, and build on Dr Stothart’s Fastball research, which has been supported for several years by BRACE.
From student to Research Associate – BRACE really is making a big difference in early diagnosis and supporting early career research.
