Living with any form of dementia is a challenge. However, with appropriate care and support, many people with dementia can enjoy a good quality of life.

Because BRACE is solely a research charity, we do not have the resources or expertise to help provide or advise on care in dementia. We do, though, work with a range of other charities and private or public sector organisations involved in helping people with dementia (see Conferences and Workshops).

If you have recently received a diagnosis of dementia, your doctor should have been able to provide you with information about support. You can also contact the local branch of the Alzheimer’s Society or the nearest Dementia Action Alliance.
