Bristol Public Transport and Dementia Online Event
September 22 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm UTC+1
Free
Bristol Dementia Charities Network (BDCN) would like to invite you to our free online event on Thursday 22nd September, 10.30 -12pm, to learn more about public transport in Bristol and how it affects people living with dementia.
Being able to access essential services such as doctors, bank or shops, as well as places of leisure, is key to living well with dementia.
Many people living with dementia are unable to drive or find that, as their dementia progresses, they are no longer able to hold a driver’s license; public transport then becomes crucial to living well and maintaining their independence.
If you or a loved one are living with dementia and using public transport in the city, this online event will give you the chance to share your experiences and suggestions to improve the services.
This event is suitable for all people affected by dementia and for professionals who support people living with dementia such as care workers, social-workers and medical workers.
We hope to see you there!
