How to be Better Prepared for Death Online Event
July 14, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm UTC+0
Free – £5.00
An Overview of legal, practical and emotional issues.
Death is the only certainty in life and yet, whether it is expected or not, we are reluctant to discuss it, think about it or prepare for it.
Having these conversations sooner, rather than later, can help support you and your family when facing death or the loss of a loved one.
Former solicitor and trainee counsellor, Emma Gray, will bring the subject of death and dying into the spotlight in this online talk.
Using her first hand and professional experience she will shares her ideas, thoughts and tips on how to become better prepared for the inevitable from a legal, practical and emotional point of view.
Emma will also explain how caring for her husband during his cancer treatment and subsequently becoming a young widow, has made her passionate about helping others.
This talk is suitable for individuals, families and professionals working in various capacities, such as nurses, social workers, solicitors, mortgage and insurance advisors and more.
Speaker Emma Gray:
Tickets are £5.00 which is a direct contribution to support world class dementia research
Tickets are FREE for people living with a dementia diagnosis and those claiming carers’ allowance to support someone with dementia.
