September 8 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pmFree – £5
Learn more about how best to prepare for the cost of care in later life online, Wednesday 8th September, 2 – 3pm.
There are three ways to fund the costs of long-term care. You may be eligible for funding from the NHS or your local authority. If not however, you will need to pay care fees with your own assets – known as self-funding.
The average care home fees for self-funders currently stands at around £1,000 per week and this sum may not cover the additional specialist care that those with dementia may need.
Whatever your circumstances, it is important to get the right advice to ensure you make the right decisions at the right time.
Please join two financial experts who can provide the funding guidance you need.
Tickets cost £5.00 with 100% going to Dementia Research.
Tickets are FREE for people living with a dementia diagnosis and those claiming carers’ allowance to support someone with dementia.
