Two BRACE Bath Half runners, running the race in red BRACE t-shirts.

On Sunday, March 17th, nine incredible individuals took on the Bath Half Marathon, all with one purpose: to raise funds for BRACE.

The dedicated runners not only completed the race in under 3 hours and 15 minutes, but they also raised awareness for dementia and BRACE.

With less than 6 months to prepare and train, given that the previous event was in October, the team did an amazing job.

Dementia has touched the lives of all the BRACE runners, and they were all running for different reasons.

Ryan, pictured above, ran for his family, which has been affected by dementia. His company also generously agreed to match all donations made to his page. Thank you to his employers!

Agnes, pictured on the right, ran for her best friend Laura, who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's in 2018.

‘It's tough, especially for her family and her friends. It 'robs individuals of themselves when they are way too young.'

The runners all did an amazing job and raised more than £4,000 for BRACE.

A big thank you to the Bath Half team and all who sponsored them.
