Learn About Dementia

BRACE Dementia Research invites you to join us at our free public information event on Friday 18th September, 11am – 2pm. Meet the BRACE team and learn more about local research. 

Researchers will give short, easy to understand, talks on: 

• Early dementia diagnosis  

• Sleep and brain health 

• Plus Q&As 

There will also be blood pressure checks and health advice on managing high blood pressure. 

Avon and Somerset Fire Brigade will be offering at home safety advice. Barcan + Kirby, a local law firm, will be on hand for informal chats on legal issues affecting later life. 

Refreshments, cakes, sweet treats and Christmas cards will be on sale to help raise funds for local research. 

The event is free to attend and suitable for people from all backgrounds.
