A BRACE-funded diagnostic tool made international headlines this year after trials confirmed that it can reliably detect dementia years earlier than existing tests, from home, and in just 3 minutes.
The South West Dementia Brain Bank
The Bank supplied more than 3500 samples to researchers across the world, in 2025. Tissue samples are crucial for developing treatments like the early Alzheimer’s drugs.
