Miles for Memories - Virtual Fundraising Challenge

Fancy getting active this summer while raising vital funds for dementia research? Miles for Memories is the perfect way to do both.

This July, take on our virtual fundraising challenge and get moving in a way that works for you - wherever you are, whenever suits you - while raising money to help BRACE fund life-changing dementia research.

Whether you’re taking part in memory of a loved one, supporting someone living with dementia, or simply raising awareness, every mile you complete will bring us one step closer to a world without dementia.

BRACE researchers are working hard to understand the causes of dementia, develop earlier diagnosis tools and develop new treatments. With your help, researchers can take us one step closer to a cure.

By joining Miles for Memories, you’ll be honouring the memories that matter most, and helping to protect them for future generations.

How does it work?

From 1st–31st July, set your own distance goal and complete it in a way that suits you. You might aim for 30 miles to build healthy habits, or challenge yourself to 100 miles if you’re feeling ambitious.

Walk, run, cycle, wheel, or move in any way that feels right for you - this is your challenge, your way. It’s fully customisable, so you can get involved in a way that works for you.

No matter your goal, every mile you complete will help fund vital dementia research and make a meaningful difference.

There's no fundraising target, we just ask that you raise as much as you can! If you raise £100 or more, we'll send you your very own BRACE medal as a special thank you!

Once you sign up, you’ll receive your own fundraising page, ready to share with friends and family. You can personalise it with a photo, set your distance goal, and explain why you’re supporting BRACE. Then all that’s left to do is spread the word and get moving!

This challenge is open to all abilities and is a great way to build exercise into your routine, boost your wellbeing, and support an important cause.
