Are you 45 or over and concerned about your memory or thinking?

The ReMemBr Group at Southmead Hospital is looking for volunteers to take part in a new study. It will investigate whether using meditation or adapting other lifestyle factors can improve memory, thinking and well-being.

The study will involve memory and “well-being” tests and participants will attend an online course for four weeks. Volunteers will also be asked to give a blood sample, but this is optional and you can take part in the study without giving blood.

The tests are done at Southmead Hospital and you will be reimbursed any costs you incur through your participation. Only three visits to the research clinic will be needed.

Please note that the researchers are not looking for volunteers who have been diagnosed with dementia.

The researchers are looking for people who:

  • Are concerned about their memory
  • Have not received any clinical diagnosis of dementia
  • Are aged over 45 years old and
  • Can perform a brisk walk
