Liz Coulthard Dementia clinic coordinator is a vital role. Many of our patients struggle to remember appointments through no fault of their own or may be unable to attend an appointment, but not able to tell us. Our clinic coordinator ensures we contact patients just before their appointments and, through last minute reorganisation, guarantees we see as many patients as possible.
With a clinic coordinator, the delays people face waiting for appointments, diagnoses and treatments have reduced.
Thank you to BRACE for fundraising to support both this role and our ReMemBr group clinical research @ReMembrgroup.
On top of all that, exercise is good for the brain and may well reduce our risk of dementia!
