Dr Amy Jenkins, a BRACE funded researcher has completed the grueling Swansea triathlon in aid of BRACE.

Amy is a research fellow at Swansea University, where she is working on a detailed characterisation of subjective cognitive decline.

Amy said, "To complete a triathlon has been at the top of my challenge list for a long time. To complete it whilst raising money for BRACE Alzheimer's Research was such an honour! The event itself was fantastic and the support I received from friends, family and BRACE was outstanding!".

Mark Poarch, Chief Executive said, "Amy is passionate about her research, and she has brought the same energy to helping us fund the research that will be done by others in future. We put great emphasis on the 'togetherness' of our work to defeat dementia, and Amy is a fine example of this."
