Fundraising Adds Up For West Country Accountants Regional Accountancy Firm Thomas Westcott has donated £3,702.50 to BRACE and £4,382.50 to Children’s Hospice South West. The money was raised late last 2017 at the Weston-Super-Mare office's annual Charity Ball. The black-tie event was held in the stunning surroundings of Batch Country House in Lympsham and saw many of the county’s leading businesses turning out to join us at the “Captain’s table” and support the fund-raising. Special thanks must also be given to Barclays who generously donated £1,000 of matched funding. This was the third charity ball organised by our Weston-super-Mare based team, led by partner Di Perrett, with over £8,000 raised from the event. This brings the total raised by the team to in excess of £33,000 for local charities. Thomas Westcott said, 'Through our work advising charities we know only too well how much these organisations depend on donations in order to keep delivering the vital services they provide, so everyone’s support in making the event a success was hugely appreciated'. BRACE Chief Executive Mark Poarch said, 'Thomas Westcott have supported us twice in recent years, and have done a wonderful job raising funds and making people aware of our work. It is great for us to have the backing of a firm that is established in local communities in Somerset and Devon, which is part of BRACE's heartland too.'
