BRACE received an overwhelming number of applicants this year for the charity's 5 race places, we are extremely grateful to have so many people wishing to support dementia research. Unfortunately, due to the number of applicants, we have not able to respond to all applications individually to let them know they have been unsuccessful on this occasion. All of the race places have now been filled, you are more than welcome to try again next year.

The London Marathon (currently known as the Virgin Money London Marathon) was first held in 1909 and is now one of the most well known races in the world.

The London Marathon is run over a largely flat course around the River Thames, and spans 26 miles. There are just over 42,000 places available and every year it sells out with a long waiting list of runners!

For 2020 BRACE has secured 5 places for people who want to raise funds for important dementia research.
