The London Marathon (currently known as the Virgin Money London Marathon) was first held in 1909 and is now one of the most famous races in the world.

The London Marathon is run over a largely flat course around the River Thames, and spans 26 miles. Last year, over 350,000 applicants applied for the 40,000 available London Marathon places.

For 2019 BRACE has secured 5 places for people who want to raise funds for important dementia research.
