Everybody should be able to live safely and free from abuse. Recent research shows that approximately 20 million people have reported experiencing financial abuse in a current or former relationship.

There are many types of abuse including - theft, fraud, exploitation in relation to a person’s financial affairs, restricting a person’s access to money, employment, or possessions. And, sadly, cases of pressurising a person to change their will, a lasting power of attorney, property and inheritance are growing.
