DESCRIPTION:The BRACE 2024 Gala will be taking place on the evening of Thursday, 5th September 2024, at the Bristol Harbour Hotel ( https://www.harbourhotels.co.uk/bristol/meetings-and-events ). The Sansovino Hall is the former banking hall of the Lloyds Bank building, with magnificent skylights and opulently detailed ceiling allowing BRACE’s pinnacle event of the year the grand setting it deserves. We will play host to an auction, live music, and 200+ guests, all to raise as many funds as possible for vital dementia research. This black-tie event will include a three-course formal dinner and half a bottle of wine per person, as well as welcome drinks on arrival.\nBRACE funds world-class clinical and laboratory research into Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia to achieve earlier diagnosis, to find better, more effective treatments and, one day, a cure. The research BRACE supports is vital; one in three people will be diagnosed with dementia in their lifetime, and currently, there is no cure.
