BRACE - Raising money for research into dementia

BRACE was built on the help of volunteers and we cannot attend the number of events and sales that we do without the help of this willing band who give freely of their time and effort and whom we appreciate greatly.

Becoming a BRACE volunteer is a great way of getting involved and it helps us enormously. BRACE is a little different to many charities in that we don't have many opportunities for regular volunteering ie each week or each month.

We need volunteers who are happy to be called to help at events, supermarket collections, in the office, making cakes, or many other ways, as and when we need their help. So if you would like to help on an occasional basis, please get in touch with the BRACE Appeal Office and let us know what you like to do. (0117 340 4831)

The important thing to us is that all our volunteers enjoy what they are doing with us and that they understand that it really does make a difference.

Another way of volunteering is taking part in sponsored events such as runs, swims and other more exotic events! If you are interested in taking part in sponsored events for which we have Golden Bond places or are thinking of setting up your own event, please get in touch with us and we can help you maximize your sponsorship.
