The BRACE Speakers group was formed
back in the late 1980s and the majority of the seven Speakers
have been involved since that time.
The group meets with Professor Wilcock twice a year to
keep them up-to-date with the research programme in Bristol
as well as the worldwide developments in the treatment
of Alzheimer's disease. The Speakers also visit the three
research units led by Professor Wilcock at the Bristol
Royal Infirmary, Frenchay Hospital and Blackberry Hill
Hospital to get a feel for the work and to get their 'jargon'
interpreted into something understandable to the various
groups and organisations that invite them to speak.
If your organisation would like a speaker to address
one of your meetings, please contact Carole Jenkins (Speakers'
Secretary) on 0117 973 5704.
Speakers: Carole Jenkins, Susan Marshfield, Mary Roy,
Mary Goronwy, Peggy Pounce, Elizabeth Mather, Joan Frieze.
