We know that not everyone can afford to give us money but there are many other ways to support BRACE.
Donating unwanted gifts
We are always looking for raffle prizes - if you have a gift that you have never used and it would make a good raffle prize, please contact the BRACE Appeal Office.
Collecting used stamps and old postcards
Collecting used stamps, stamp albums, old postcards (pre-1950 with the stamp on) or old photographs (the older the better) can help us. We can raise funds from these items - so get clearing out those cupboards and lofts! Please send your collections to the office or call us on 0117 975 4831 if there is a lot and we will arrange collection.
Recycling
We can turn used computer inkjet cartridges (not Epson) and laser cartridges into cash and help to save the planet! We are working through a company called Office Green who will accept used cartridges for recycling. If you would like to take part in this scheme please contact the BRACE Appeal Office or contact Office Green directly via www.officegreen.co.uk or freefone 0800 833480. Make sure that they know you want the money to come to BRACE!
Volunteering to help
One of the great things about BRACE is that being a volunteer need not tie you in to a long-term commitment. We always need extra help for one-off events so if you don't mind being telephoned and asked for help, this could be for you.
It could be anything from manning a sales table, helping with refreshments, collecting on a flag day to stuffing envelopes or making a cake. You decide - it can be as much or as little as you like. If you are interested in joining our band of volunteers please complete the contact form.
Last year our profit from fundraising events and sales was £76,581. Please help us to beat that total this year!
