Former rugby player running for BRACE
Former London Irish and Surrey rugby player Neil Murphy is running, or as he would say hobbling, the Bristol Half Marathon on Sunday 5th September in memory of his mother Mary Murphy who passed away in June this year after a 10 year long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Neil suffered a massive brain haemorrhage in late 2007 which has left him with some difficulty in walking due to poor balance so this is a huge undertaking for him. Please support Neil and BRACE if you can by visiting his Just Giving page at http://www.justgiving.com/neil-murphy1 and sponsor him. Thank you.
Neil is also arranging a Charity Golf Day at Henley-on-Thames in aid of BRACE later this year – more information will follow when the details have been finalised.
